MiaChiesaStart a live broadcast
Connect a video or audio feed already hosted by an external service and put it on air from Live.
Open the Live control area
Open Live from Screens. If several places of worship are configured, choose the one that should receive the source: video and audio sources are stored separately for the selected place.
Choose External source
In the mode chooser open External source, then Connect a source. The page has separate Video source and Audio source (radio) cards; use the card that matches the signal you already broadcast.
Connect the correct link
Paste the YouTube, Facebook or other video URL into Live stream link and select Verify. For web radio, use Audio source (radio) and paste the direct stream URL, such as an address ending in radio.mp3. Source connected confirms the saved link, which then remains visible on the card.
Choose when to go on air
For an immediate broadcast select Go on air now: You’re on air confirms activation and the control changes to End the live stream. Alternatively keep Follow the Mass schedule enabled; the source goes live during configured Mass windows and displays On air now, following the schedule.
Check the signal and end it
Open the faithful app or an assigned screen and verify that it receives the intended source. After a manual start, return to the card and select End the live stream. Any recording remains with the external service and is not saved automatically under Recordings.
What you have achieved
- The correct external source is connected to the selected place of worship.
- You’re on air or On air now, following the schedule indicates when the signal is visible.
Troubleshooting
Verify rejects the link
Use the live video URL or channel ID for YouTube. For radio, paste the direct audio stream rather than the player page or station image.
You cannot connect a new source
Check Manage livestreams permission and that a screen slot is available; replacing an already connected source does not use another slot.
