MiaChiesaShow screen content in the believers’ app
Turn on “In chiesa ora” so believers can see in the app what is running on the church screens, and choose which screens to show.
Find the switch
Open Screens and scroll to the Show to believers card. The switch decides whether believers see “In chiesa ora” in the app, mirroring what’s on your screens.
Turn on “In chiesa ora”
Turn the switch on: the message “Believers can now see "In chiesa ora".” appears and the In church entry shows up in the believers’ app.
Turning it off shows “"In chiesa ora" is now hidden from believers.” and the entry disappears from the app.
Choose which screens to show
Open a screen with Manage and, under Screen settings, turn on Also in the believer app: this screen’s playlist is then also shown in “In chiesa ora”. If the screen has no playlist, the switch is disabled and “Assign a playlist to this screen first” appears under it.
The setting belongs to the playlist: it applies to every screen using it. If you turn on more than one, believers choose which to watch.
What believers see
In the app believers open In church and find In church now: the slide On air now, the list of every slide in the carousel and, if there is one, the live Mass. The page Updates by itself.
What you have achieved
- Believers see in the app what runs on the screens.
- You decide which playlists appear in “In chiesa ora”.
Troubleshooting
Believers read “Your parish hasn't turned this on yet.”
The Show to believers switch is off. Turn it on in the Screens page.
Believers read “There's nothing on the screens right now.”
No playlist shown to believers has active slides. Turn on Also in the believer app on a screen with a full playlist.
The Also in the believer app switch is grey
The screen has no playlist. Assign one and try again.
