Open the slide’s scheduling

Open Screens, go into the playlist and select the slide. Scroll to the Scheduling card: leave it empty and the slide is always shown.

At the top right of the card the label tells you whether, with the current choices, the slide is Active now or Not active now.

Choose days and times

Under Days of the week select the days the slide should appear, for example Sun for the Sunday Mass times. From time and To time limit the time window.

The label updates immediately: if today is not among the chosen days it becomes Not active now.

Limit the period

With From and To choose the start and end dates. Under Only during you can tie the slide to a liturgical season: the dates fill in by themselves. Always removes the link.

Save

Select Save slide: “Slide saved” appears and you go back to the playlist. Screens using the playlist show the slide only at the chosen times; the rest of the time they move on to the next one.

What you have achieved

  • The slide appears only on the chosen days, times or period.
  • Outside those times the screens show the playlist’s other slides.

Troubleshooting

The slide never appears

Check the label in the Scheduling card: if it says Not active now, the days, times or dates exclude the current moment.

I want it shown all the time again

Deselect the days, clear times and dates and choose Always under Only during, then save.

I see “Slide operation failed”

The slide was not saved. Check your connection and select Save slide again.
