Resolve a Google Calendar conflict
Compare two versions of an appointment, choose the source and verify the result.
Recognise the conflict
Open Settings > Integrations. The Google Calendar row shows a conflict count when the same appointment changed in both calendars.
A conflict needs a choice. Starting another sync does not decide which version is correct and does not replace checking the data.
Open the comparison
Open the Google Calendar row and select Resolve in the banner. If several conflicts exist, the panel opens the first one; return to the list afterwards to inspect the others.
Before choosing, also open the actual appointment in both calendars. The comparison shows the copy recorded when the conflict was detected and may be older than a later edit.
Compare both versions
The window places MiaChiesa beside Google Calendar. Compare title, date, start and end time, and place; if information is not shown, check it in the original appointment.
Do not choose based on the calendar you use most often. Choose the entry containing the information that must remain in both calendars.
Choose and verify
Select Keep MiaChiesa to use the current MiaChiesa appointment for supported Google calendar fields. Select Keep Google to apply the title, date, times and place from the Google copy stored with the conflict to MiaChiesa.
Both buttons act immediately and do not open a second confirmation. After the success message, verify that the conflict has disappeared and recheck the appointment in both calendars. With Keep Google, the description is not copied and the place may need correction in the MiaChiesa appointment.
What you have achieved
- You chose the version to keep after checking both actual appointments.
- You verified that the conflict disappeared and that title, date, times and place are correct.
Troubleshooting
The comparison does not show the latest edit
Close the window and inspect both appointments directly. The comparison preserves the copy recorded when the conflict was detected; choose only after identifying the correct version.
