Open Notifications

Open Notifications from personal settings. The choices made here apply to your profile.

The first card manages device push registration; the rows below manage which alerts you receive and through which channels.

Adjust personal alerts

Under For you, use a row’s switch to enable or disable an alert type. If you enable it with no selected channels, the app restores that type’s default channels.

Use In app, Push, or Email to change the available channels. If you disable the final channel, the alert type is also disabled. Every click saves the preference immediately.

Check exceptions and operational preferences

Security alerts and essential confirmations are always enabled. Their required channels cannot be removed.

For communities you manage shows only authorized scopes, with separate preferences. For you remains available for personal choices. Restore defaults removes the row’s override.

Use quiet mode when needed

To pause selected channels during time ranges or recurring moments, open Silent mode in the header.

Quiet rules are personal and do not change other users’ preferences.

Fig. 3The dialog lets you prepare personal rules; no change has been saved in this screen.

What you have achieved

  • Alert types and their delivery channels reflect your preferences.
  • Required notifications remain enabled, and operational preferences stay separated by community.

Troubleshooting

I cannot disable a channel

That channel may be required for a security alert or essential confirmation. Required channels remain disabled in the controls.
