Choose which folders to follow and save notices

Decide which Noticeboard folders notify you, filter unread or saved notices and keep the ones you need.

Open folder notifications

Open Noticeboard. Notices are grouped into folders chosen by the community. Select Folder notifications (the bell icon on a phone).

Choose what notifies you

For each folder choose All (every new notice), Pinned (only highlighted notices) or Mute (no notifications). Then select Done.

Muting does not hide the folder: its notices stay on the Noticeboard, you just are not alerted.

Filter unread or saved

In the list view use the All, Unread and Saved filters. A notice becomes read when you open it.

Save a notice

Open a notice and select Save: the button is highlighted and the notice appears under Saved. Select it again to remove it.

What you have achieved

  • You are notified only by the folders you care about.
  • You find important notices again under Saved.

Troubleshooting

I muted a folder: why do I still see it?

Mute only removes notifications. The folder and its notices stay on the Noticeboard.

I get no notifications even with All

Check the app’s and your phone’s notification settings: folder choices always respect the general ones.

I see “The operation could not be completed”

Your choice was not saved. Check your connection and select Try again.
