Create a screen playlist

Open a new playlist, add its first content item and identify what remains a draft before saving.

Open Screens

In Screens find New playlist. The same page summarizes devices and playlists already configured.

Open the draft

Open New playlist without choosing a template. The builder shows New playlist, an empty Sequence and Save playlist.

Add the first content

Select Add content, then Custom slide. The item enters the local sequence; use Save playlist only when you intend to create it.

What you have achieved

  • You can prepare a new playlist with its first content without saving it accidentally.

Troubleshooting

New playlist is missing

Check that you have Manage screens permission in the selected scope.
