Create an account and follow your community

Sign up to MiaChiesa with email, Google, Facebook or Apple, find your community and follow it to receive notices, schedules and events.

Choose how to sign up

Open MiaChiesa and, on the sign-in page, select Sign up here next to “Don't have an account?”. Create your account opens.

The quickest way is Continue with Google, Continue with Facebook or Continue with Apple: you use the account you already have and don’t need to choose a password. To sign up with your email, use the form below or.

Fill in your details and accept the terms

Enter First Name, Last Name, Email, Password and Confirm Password. Tick the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service acceptance: until you accept them, Sign Up stays disabled. Marketing consent is optional.

Select Sign Up: Check your inbox appears. Open the email we sent you and select the confirmation link to complete registration.

Find your community

On first sign-in the app asks How do you prefer to read?: choose the text size and select Continue (or This is fine). In What brings you here? select Find your community.

In Find your community search by name, filter by diocese or use Near me. Select Follow next to the community; tapping the name opens its public page instead.

Confirm and choose your main community

You now follow appears with the community’s name. Set as main is on: the main community is the one the app opens by default. With Follow another community you can add more.

Select Continue: the app offers to turn on notifications (Turn on notifications or Later) and ends with All set. Select Enter MiaChiesa to open the home page.

What you have achieved

  • You have a confirmed MiaChiesa account.
  • You follow your community and the app shows you its notices, schedules and events.

Troubleshooting

I see “Temporary emails are not allowed”

Use a permanent email address: disposable inboxes are not accepted.

I see “You must accept the Privacy Policy to continue”

Tick the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service acceptance, then select Sign Up again.

I see “Passwords do not match”

Type the same password in both Password and Confirm Password.

I see “No results. Try another name or invite whoever leads it.”

Try the town name or part of the name; if the community isn’t on MiaChiesa, invite whoever leads it to activate it.
