Configure the community’s devotions

Choose the prayers on offer, set the community gatherings, publish the intention of the month and set up church mode.

Choose the prayers on offer

Open Guided devotions. In Prayers on offer the switch at the top turns the feature on or off; below it you choose Rosary, Chaplet of Divine Mercy and Stations of the Cross. In Prayers and readings you set the Mystery scheme and the prayers to include; in Local Stations of the Cross meditations you can replace the default texts.

These changes are saved together with Save.

Add a gathering

In Community gatherings select Add. In New gathering choose Which devotion, When (Every week, Only during part of the year or One date), the Days, the Time and the place. Turn on Show on the calendar to put the dates on the community calendar, then select Save.

Publish the intention of the month

In The intention of the month write a short text: it appears before and after the prayer and is public. In Next month you prepare the next one; The prayer to the patron closes the Rosary. Select Save: Settings saved appears.

Presence and church mode

In Community presence choose Show how many people are praying (only a number, never the names), the Privacy threshold (never fewer than five), Live leader and Church mode, for the screen at the back of the nave. Once church mode is saved, Open the prayer screen appears.

With Believer view you see the devotions as a believer does.

What you have achieved

  • Believers find the chosen prayers, the gatherings and the intention of the month.
  • The church screen can follow the guided prayer.

Troubleshooting

I see “We could not save that. Try again in a moment.”

Saving failed: your changes stay on screen, try Save again.

I see “Pick at least one day.”

For a weekly gathering select at least one day.

Activity this month shows no numbers

“Activity is shown only for at least five distinct people.” appears: below that threshold the data stays hidden.

I can’t see Open the prayer screen

It appears only after turning on and saving Church mode.
