Change the followed community

Switch from one followed community to another without changing the list of communities you follow.

Find the active context

The sidebar shows the name of the community or group currently displayed. The control is available when there is at least one alternative.

Changing context changes the content shown in the app; it does not unfollow the previous community.

Open the switcher

Select the context panel. The Switch community dialog identifies what you are following and separates available communities, pastoral units, and groups.

The search field appears only when the list contains at least six items.

Choose the new community

Select the required community. The dialog closes and the active context updates immediately.

Check the name in the sidebar before viewing schedules, events, or notices: these pages use the context you just selected.

What you have achieved

  • The new community is the app’s active context.
  • Other followed communities remain available in the switcher.

Troubleshooting

The panel does not open the switcher

The control is interactive only when another context, a group, or additional access is available. Follow another community from its public page first.

I want to unfollow a community

The switcher only changes the context being viewed. To unfollow it, open its page and use the dedicated control.
